The Discoverers Class: Transition/Pre-Primary
This transitional pre-primary class typically includes 2- and 3-year-olds. The curriculum covers math, science, language, and sensorial learning with a key focus on practical life lessons. Practical life lessons are designed to help students develop a care for themselves, the environment, and each other.
The "discoverers" program at Spell Well Montessori School is used as a method of seeing children as they really are and creating environments which foster the fulfillment of their highest potential -- emotional, physical, and intellectual -- as members of a family, the world community, and the cosmos. Montessori practice is always up-to-date and effective because teacher observations and lesson plans are continual and specific to the needs of each student.
